Prevention Partnership is celebrating seventeen years of service to the community in providing comprehensive, culturally diverse prevention and education services in areas such as alcohol and other drug abuse, HIV/AIDS, anger management, violence, and peer leadership. In carrying out such activities, it functions as a catalyst and management agent for the community, by facilitating a needs assessment and action planning process. Each year Prevention Partnership, Inc., salutes those special people whose actions have made Chicago safer, healthier and in other ways, a better place. On its seventeenth anniversary, Prevention Partnership will salute two of the community's

finest supporters of prevention and health promotion efforts.

People will gather at Loyola University for an awards dinner to publicly salute these two special people, all of who have, in his or her own unique way, made Chicago 

a better place to live, learn, work, and play.
